established in 2008.
We are a catering
company who
specializes in New
Orleans traditional
cuisine.
With a special fresh and
new twist, the company
is run by Devin Mundy
and April Francis. Two
sisters born and raised
in New Orleans,
Louisiana, founded the
company because of
their love for food.
Devin, who is the cook,
is an artist when it
comes to cooking and
creating new dishes.
Devin started cooking at
the tender age of 7. The
fourth child of six, she
always loved hanging
around watching her
grandmother, Rosie
Watkins, and her late
grandfather, Charles
Watkins, III. in the
kitchen. Devin soon
became the cook of the
family, and grew to love
it more and more
everyday.
The name D-Marie’s
Kitchen comes from the
name Devin Marie and if
you know Devin, you
know her favorite place
in the world is the
kitchen. For Devin Marie

customer’s morning,
noon, and night.

professional women, who
are ready to service all of
your catering needs.

called “5450.” “5450”,
was a hot lunch delivery
service. April created the
menus, found the right
products for food storage,
and Devin started cooking
and recruiting customers.
After a while, as business
continued to bloom, Devin
began to have an earnest
desire to expand. She
had a vision of opening a
restaurant, and she knew
selling suppers wouldn’t
get her there. Devin
believed in the quality of
her freshly prepared food
(D-Marie’s Specialties),
and she wanted to serve
a wide variety of
consumers with that
quality. So, “5450” was
closed and reconstructed.

into effect, and that’s why
